In March, 1919, ten local real estate brokers became the first subscribers to the
Vancouver Real Estate Exchange Ltd. In 1948 the Exchange was renamed to the Vancouver Real
Estate Board, and in the mid 1970s it was given its current name - the Real Estate Board
of Greater Vancouver. Since then, the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver has grown to 14,000+ members. It is the second largest real estate board in Canada, and the largest Board in British Columbia The Board comprises over 50 per cent of the BC Real Estate Association membership has operated continuously since 1919, and pioneered the first MLS listing service in Canada. Sea To Sky Premier Properties is a member of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver. As the Managing Broker of Sea To Sky Premier Properties (Salt Spring), Li Read is also a member of this important real estate board. |
